At McDonald's, the guy in front of us kept trying to order Go Big Time (upsize your drink and fries for 18php). The cashier explained that he'd have to buy a value meal first to 'buy' the Go Big Time. But the guy insisted that he wanted only the Go Big Time. And again the cashier explained the value meal thing, and again the guy said he wanted only the Go Big Time. This exchange of words was repeated several times, the cashier's voice amplified and face contortion increased with each iteration. After some time, the guy defeatedly looked at the 20-peso bill held by his right hand and ordered a regular coke to go.
